Raspberry Pi Pico
Pico is the first microcontroller board from the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It is a different type of microcontroller board than the Single Board Computer (SBC) such as the Raspberry Pi 4 and previous Pi models and is ideal for experimenting with hardware and as the brains of devices, machines, and inventions.
The Raspberry Pi Pico uses the RP2040 microcontroller chip, which is a custom System on Chip (SoC) developed by Raspberry Pi. It has a dual-core 133 MHz Arm Cortex M0+ processor, 264KB SRAM, and 2MB flash memory. It is written in two programming languages: C/C++ and MicroPython. To use it, you have to write the code on your computer and flash it to the Pico board via USB.
